The Scorpion 18:24 22 Mar 07

Each time after booting my PC I get the error message saying 'The system has recovered from a serious error' and then creats .DMP error log file in window. There is no problem as such and this message goes away on clicking the 'Close' button. As it happens each time I log on the PC, it is very ennoying and I have to delete built up memory dump files so often.

Is there any fault with the physical RAM? Is there any way of getting rid of this message?
My OS is WinXPPro.
Many Thanks for the help

Have you cleaned the temp files out with something like window washer, as it's sometimes just a conflict with something in the temp folder that causes the error on start-up.

I don't know whether this actually works but I used to get the message from time to time and I eventually got rid of it by going to: run - msconfig - start - and then unticking memory dump.
