hi i,ve just installed another 512 3200 memory in my msi kt4 ultra m/c system information still showing 512 why is this ?when i take one strip out it still works ether one and it still works

HAve a look at crucial.com/uk and enter your mobo details; it will tell you the max you can have.

It may be that you need a bios update to use more than 512mb.

think i see the problem it needs to be one strip rather then two double banks strips

Supports 2 banks of DDR 400 (PC3200). Either two single banked modules or a single double banked DDR 400 module can be installed to comprise the two banks of memory.
