My friend runs a small office business and would have no other. I was very sceptical to start with but must agree with him, very good value for money.

Have you ever seen a poor review in the publication you mention?

...:-))

Medion is not a manufacturer - it is a German based distributor and sources its products from specialist manufacturers/suppliers.

These are re-badged under its own name and distributed for sale through its retail outlet partners such as Aldi in the UK, Europe and the States.

There's absolutely nothing wrong in this method (Lidl has the Sivercrest name for a similar scheme) and, in fact, many computer related products are re-badged items from other manufacturers.

My Aldi bought Medion is 3.5 years old and is an excellent piece of kit.
Good spec for the price plus the fact you get the op system on disk not just preinstalled.
Found I haven't used some of the pre-supplied software and so have uninstalled to gain more disk space.

I would buy another any time.

Would go along with Fruit Bat /\0/\ I have two Medions, one just under four years old and another - must be at least six years old and both still going strong (don't think I should have said that!)

Yes,I have seen a bad review on a desktop Medion, the 6615 Pc,has 2 (2x250)GB HDs installed in tandem and reviewed as being very noisy.

You have pointed out many times that Medion is a re-badged product, and sold throughout various outlets, but the specifications (HD\graphics\memory size)may vary, some with a monitor, this depends on which retailer they are bought from.

Medion however only offer updates & after sales support to desktop systems (monitor optional) bought from Aldi. As mentioned earlier I am conversant with Medion having bought 3 myself andin regulaly in touch with other owners.
