Window7 HP 64 bit. In Windows media player I have deleted a music file from C://user/name/music and now media player will only display the deleted files. I have ripped some of the music again but Media Player will not find the new files. They will play in media player if I find them on the hard drive and click play!
I've tried removing media player in windows options then adding it again but no joy.
Can anyone help?

I've created a "My Music" folder in "Music" and things look more promising but media player still having difficulty playing tracks from the library.

It is still trying to play the WMA files which now don't exist but says they are still on the hard drive! I am trying a Revo Uninstaller delete evidence. Re ripped the CD's in MP3 but media player doesn't want to find them!

Managed to get rid of the WMA files by -
Show hidden files and folders
C user name, application data, media player.
Deleted all wmdb files
Media player now clear of non existent WMA files.
