Media Player 11 Beta 2

I downloaded Media Player 11 Beta 2 and found that Power Cinema would no longer play TV or radio with the message "No Tuner Installed". The TV card showed up OK in Devicer Manager and uninstalling and reinstalling did not help.
I decided to restore back to the restore point that Media Player automatically sets up before installation but this does not in fact remove Media Player 11 and the situation was unchanged.
I then restored to an earlier point. Media Player 11 was still there but TV card was now working.
At the end of the restoration there was a message that duplicate files had been created in Windows\System32 for
WPDShServiceObj.dll, WpfShext.dl, PortableDevices Types.dll. PortableDevicesApi.dll, Audiodev.dll and wmvcore.dll.

These new files were all designated 2 and are the same size as the originals.
1 Any ideas asto why these files were created?
2 Should I delete any of the old files. The 2 files are identical in size to the originals.?

MS have a procedure for rolling back media Player and obviously I should have read that first.
