Maxtor SATA 120 GB Drivers

Does anyobe know where i can get the drivers for a Maxtor SATA 120 GB Drive? I have looked everywhere on the maxtor site and can't find them.

Its the diamond max plus 9 series of drives also.

It should have them on the mobo driver cd.If you have tried these and get an error,wait until XP asks for them before inserting the floppy.I just had a looksee round the net for a driver and it depends on whether your wanting a RAID setup or non RAID system as to which driver you get.

You do not have drivers for the hard drive - you need SATA RAID drivers for your motherboard.

Post details of the motherboard and someone will undoubtedly point you in the right direction

i have an msi kt400 m/b. i want to use the drive to install my o/s on , so no RAID set up.

When I instaled my Maxtor I downloaded Maxblast 3 from the site it might help.

On the mobo Cd should be Si3112 and Si3112r drivers.Copy one or other to a floppy,during install of XP press F6,when XP looks for the floppy,insert it then.
