I know this is not perhaps a technical problem but I am biding for MAXTOR ONE TOUCH EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE 300GB on ebay it is approximatley 18 months old it is going at the moment for £74.00
and has Firewire Connectivity. My question is what would be a reasonable price for this drive bearing in mind it is second hand unit. Again sorry as I know this is not really a technical question.

...if it's 2nd hand! Try looking in computer fairs etc. you'll get a better deal there!

Thanks martjc I taken on board what you say. I went to a fairly large computor fair in croydon two weeks ago they did not have a maxtor will carry on looking.

I think at 18 months old £74 is OTT, you can buy a new Maxtor one touch for £150 or less, Freecom one touch for a little more, i`m sure you could find cheaper with a bit of searching.
