Maximum File size to avoid blocking Micro Outlook

  Elkopop 07:46 26 Feb 06

I recently had to unblock Microsoft Outlook due to trying to mail out a photograph when I had successfully sent other smaller ones. Does anyone know whether this is a limit you can adjust through your own settings in the programme or does it depend on your ISP provider? Thanks

You split large messages apart.
Tools,accounts,properties,advanced,break messages apart greater than???

I'm not sure that break messages is an option in Outlook (it is in Outlook Express).

Why not save the photograph as a jpg file - this will make it smaller. IrfanView can do this click here

Have used Outlook at work to send nearly 100MG.

Max file size is probably set by your ISP,
Wannado will not let me send more than 1Mg.

So I use gmail to send bigger files.
