Use Belarc click here or
Everest Home Edition click here
to determin exact make of motherboard.

Just in case you are not aware - In Belarc the motherboard is shown as Main Circuit Board, I did once have someone saying they could not find the Motherboard in Belarc.

Ooops - According .....

i've got 1.75ghz in, hope it doesn't take off.
is this a potential hazzard?

I think you are a little confused - Ghz is not Memory - Memory (RAM) is measured in Mb/Gb.
Ghz is the power rating of your CPU.
