Not sure if this is the right forum ( might be better off in Consumer forum?) but worth a mention. Have a look at this link .

Make sure your security program/s can detect and block bad scripts on any web page .

Ad Blocker should help but not altogether sold on it.

It seems that you don't even have to 'hover' the mouse pointer over a bad ad to get infected any more.
