Making IE my default browser.

I'm currently using Firefox but would like to try IE7. I dont't see how I change the default browser - anybody know??

Tools /Internet options/programs ...Make IE default browser

Internet Explorer... Tools>Internet Options>Programs... there is a button just over half way down.. "Make Default"

I'm not as dim as I was thinking I am.

There is no 'Internet Explorer' or 'Make Default' option in IE/Tools/Programs. I suspect I have something of a funny.

Any Ideas???

Start ,Set program access and defaults. Click button to make Internet Explorer default,

Can you goto Tools/Internet Options/Programs and take a screenshot and post the link here.

Taking a screenshot: press Print Screen

Open Paint from windows.

Click Paste

You now have the screenshot

Click save as in the File menu

Name this something like Default IE,this will save in your Docs or Pictures normally.

Then goto Imageshack hosting click here

Browse,now find your screenshot and click on this and open,it now loaded into Imageshack.

And click Host it,this may take a while.You will be given a linking code.Select the bottom link and copy and paste it here.

You should have a page looking like this click here

Start>Set Program Access and Defaults>Customise.

You can also select other programs and applications as the defaults as necessary.
