I want to make a bootable floppy disk, I right clicked on floppy drive, clicked on format from drop down menu, then I got two options, (quick format)and (create an MS-DOS startup disk) I clicked on MS-DOS startup disk, I got a warning, formating will eras all data on this disk.is it ok to do it. I'm novice.

Depends what you want to do. An MS-DOS startup disk will boot the comp into DOS.

If, on the other hand, you want a boot disk to format a hard drive, or install an operating system, download one from click here

Download to the desktop, not directly to floppy.
