Im running a new laptop on Vista and when I play music on it and Im on the internet, as pages load *whether it be Firefox of IE* the audio gets interrupted heavily ruining the playback.

What could cause this?

Im using a Toshiba P300, Centrino 2.4ghz dual core. 4gb of ram.

I havent come across a situation where this happens when Im just using the comp and not the internet.

Any ideas?

If you need more info I will give it to you asap.

Thanks
Rob

Just to add

I have since tried to "overload" the system by starting heavy duty programs and this problem doesnt come up.

Its only when I start the internet
