MailWasher curious error message

Since last night MailWasher has been displaying a rather odd message "Max line length exceeded" whenever it tries to check for mail on my account. This seems to be stopping it from going on to check two other mail accounts.

I know there are two messages waiting to be downloaded (suspect spam), but does anyone know the meaning of that message and how to overcome the problem?

Accessed my mailbox via ISP and was able to delete one of the (now 3) messages - spam (but only 23MB) re cheap software . Ran MailWasher again and both the other messages downloaded without problem. As one of them was 40MB it can't have been the size of the one I deleted that caused the problem.

that would seem to me to be about 70 meg in total which i would think is too much for it to handle within the time setting.

johnny.
