I have started getting strings of this message every day when I know it isn't.Is it spam & if so how can I stop it?

You don't give any details of what email program you use, but it sounds as though your webmail inbox needs emptying. Go to your mail provider's webmail site and sign in to find and delete messages.

You will then need to amend an instruction in your email program not to leave messages on the server.

Thanks Sea Urchin going to my mail providers web site fixed it.Strang thing though I have never had to do that before.Perhaps it's because I now use windows live mail on windows 7.

OK so if you haven't done so already open Windows Live Mail - go to Tools - Accounts - highlight your mail account and click Properties. Click Advanced tab, and under Delivery make sure that there is NO tick in the box beside "Leave a copy of messages on server" - click Apply and OK.

If you leave a tick there then the problem will reoccur.
