Mail Delivery Failed

I had an email from a friend asking me to look at his new company website.

The email was from Kevin ([email protected]***********.com)

I used the reply button on OE message to be certain of getting the new address correct. I was very surprised when this mail delivery failed with explanation.

'The following address(es) failed
[email protected]**********.com (ultimately generated from
[email protected]***********.com)unknown local-part "info" in domain "k***********.com"

Any email experts with a possible explanation?

It could be that the person had incorrectly entered his/her e-mail address in the user information. This not necessarily the same as the log on information.

If you have the persons address recorded separately, try sending to that one. I had it happen once with a friend of mine.
