Mail coming in but not going out.

My wifes laptop which uses the same BT router as my computer has stopped allowing mail to go out but mail is incoming ok.
Out of the blue her system has started to ask for her user name and password which has never happened before and of course she has no record of these. Is there any file on the computer which stores this info? If so how do i gain access to it.
She is using Vista and windows mail.
Any help would be wecomed.

Your settings should be -
Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: (No SSL, port: 110)

Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: (No SSL, port: 25 or 587, use authentication)

Account Name/Login Name: Your BT Yahoo! Mail ID (your email address without the "")

Email Address: Your BT Yahoo! Mail address (e.g., [email protected])

Password: Your BT Yahoo! Mail password

When you signed up to BT you would receive (online) confirmation that your service was "active" and advised to keep those details safe. I have a 3 page print out of this which includes my password. Check to see if you have this.

I hope this helps.
