Magix audio cleaning lab

I have been using the cleaning lab 2004 delux to time stretch many songs to my satisfaction. But for no reason I can think of as I am not doing anything differently, when I have set the new required speed and clicked OK instead of timestretching it deletes the waveform.
I have 20G empty space on my hard drive and have 1G of RAM.
Have I inadvertantly clicked something or other? I couldn't find a reference to this problem in help.
cheers

to no avail and have left message at Magix site (who say they will try to reply in 8 working days)
I can adjust the waveform by hand in the meantime but has anyone a better suggestion to offer?
