Madesafe - A word of warning

I recently installed madesafe of the coverdisk -it seems a good little utilty BUT...

If you select the option to write to free spaces its supposed to create a folder (called stuff) in your c drive. After writing to your disk you are told to reboot and what is supposed to happen is the "stuff" folder is supposed to be deleted before windows starts up.
In my case it didn't and I was left with a file some 22 Gb in size!
I spoke to a nice chap on the madesafe helpdesk who told me to delete the "stuff" folder (which i had to do in safe mode because it didn't seem to want to delete in normal mode).
He did say I wasn't the first to ring up with this problem.
