Low cost, high quality all in one printer?

Hi

I am looking to replace my printer and see the all in ones as offering value - however, cheaper to buy models seem offset by higher ink cartridges - does anyone know of a compromise with a purchase price less than £60?
Wifi would be fab but this might be asking too much.
Thanks
Sam

The Epson DX4400 is currently now on sale at Tesco for £29.99 - it's vastly superior IMHO to the very basic Canon iP 210 which has been on offer at around £20 throughout this year (even though John Lewis still seeks £50!)

The Epson uses four separate cartridges, so each can be replaced individually as required.

For a bit more there are the next level models in the DX range.

I bought a colour Xerox laser and I haven't looked back.

I looked round my room to see 10 -12 Lexmark inkjet cartridges, and realised they cost far more than the printer.

The xerox was about £130 and has been running well for 18+ months.

Printerland at click here are doing a XeroxPhaser 6110B for £69.

Disadvantages of my Xerox - its a bit big, a bit heavy, and makes noises at odd times!

It depends what sort of high quality you want.

If its to print high quality photographs, then a colour laser is not your best choice, (unless you can afford a very high price).

Choice stationery sell excellent compatible ink cartridges for ink-jets at low prices.
