lost xp cd

Hi. Hope someone can help. I want to do a fresh install of XP Pro on my laptop, but have lost the XP cd although I have the product sticker on the base. Apart from shelling out for a new os cd, what are my (best) options?
Thanks in advance.

Borrow xp pro from a friend and use your reg. number.

Make sure that the CD version matches the COA
ie OEM vs Retail
Make a copy of the borrowed CD, and if it isnt the SP2 version, you can make your own.

There is whole lot more you can do if you want to make your own custom XP installation discs. Check this out click here

for your help. I've just gone thru a windows 'repair' and all is well this time. However, your advice is appreciated and I'll be using the links supplied by Jack Hackett.
