Lost wireless router

Overnight I lost wireless access to my DG834PN. I am able to see neighbouring networks using my wireless adapter, but my own is not visible.

I have recycled the power on my adapter, and noticed that the Wireless LED lights briefly, but remains off indicating that the WIRELESS ACCESS POINT is turned off. All the other LED's are lit correctly.

I have considered a reset, but I am reluctant to do this as it will need an ethernet connection between computer and adapter in order to reconfigure the settings, and my computer is nowehere near the adapter/telephone socket. (the reason for wireless connection in the first place). Plus of course I don't know if a reset will work!

Is there an easy solution or is it a new router?

I know it means connecting the computer to the router, but if it works it will be worth it.
