I have a Pentium III 1000hz with 516 mb Ram I have purchased a new 30gb H/D when I went to install Windows XP Pro I received a message NTLDR missing, what is wrong. I tried using it as a spare Drive, it came up was it was 8Gb H/D where has the other 22GB gone

Run a search on this site for NTLDR is missing.

The NTLDR error just means that the NT Loader can't be found. This is the WinXP equivalent of the Win98 system files. If you set your PCs BIOS to boot from CD and put your WinXP CD into the drive it should boot from it and you can partition and format your new drive during the installation.
