I seem to have lost my Soundmax control panel, not that i use it very often but tried to use it today and it wouldnt display, the icon has got a no entry sign on it and when i cursor over it 'no soundmax audio present-you cannot use soundmax control panel ' appears, the sound is fine though, any ideas how i can get it back?

I'm not very technical but what does it show here:
Start/right click my computer/properties/hardware/device manager.

Scroll down to and open 'sounds video and game controllers'.
Double click on SoundMax and see what it says. ie'This device is working properly'. ( Or not).
Check that the bottom box shows 'use this device'
If it doesn't --use the dropdown there to enable.
Apart from the above that is the sum total of my knowledge!

In Program Files from My Computer>C drive, find the Soundmax software and drivers.

The Soundmax listings should/presumably will include a .exe file for the control panel.

Right click the file and choose Create Shortcut.

Drag it on to the Desk>right click and, if necessary, Rename it to Soundmax Control Panel or whatever you wish.

An alternative is to reinstall the drivers and software.
