I have lost most of my Outlook Express personal folders, including Sent Items. It recreates a new Sent Items folder, but its empty. It doesn't re-create the other folders that don't have the standard OE names. This problem just happened after a restart in the last few days.

This disaster might be of my own making. When I migrated to a new computer about 7 months ago, I copied all of the OE .dbx files to the Local Settings/Application Data/Identities/xxx.../Microsoft/Outlook Express folder on the new machine. It didn't really work at the time, but some of those old folders and messages have just reappeared.

I do know that the .dbx files are still there - I've checked. But I have no idea why OE doesn't map to them. Help!
