Lost Norton Antivirus files

I wonder if someone could help with my problem.

On the 12th of March 04, I renewed my annual Norton Antivirus subscription.

Recently I had a hard disc failure, resulting in the loss of all my programme files etc.

I thought I would send an e-mail to Symantec, contact click here for help, after spending an hour or so going round in circles, trying to answer questions about details that were on the hard disc, I realised that it is impossible to get my problem across to Symantec.

The only paperwork I have is a receipt from Feb 03 these details seem invalid.

You can download all the definitions from Symantec's website but it will usually be several megabytes:

The latest virus definitions are usually posted a day earlier than on the LiveUpdate link.

If you had to do a complete reformat of your PC, and install all your programmes from scratch, (including Norton AV), then you should start a new 1 year subscription from that date.

Go to Norton "Live Update", and this will install any updates for you.
