Wen i put my slave in a couple of weeks ago it waws recognised and then i went back into My Computer and it was gone. In the ned i just opened the PC pulled the cables out and put them back in. Did the trick for me. Is the drive a new drive? Have you formatted fully etc?

Oh! Is the disk properly formatted? I mean did you get a new HDD and just stick it in. I'm not sure but i think it has to be formatted for windows to recogniseit
