Lost Google ' Local Search'

Had a FireFox update yesterday to 3.6.9.
Since then I have no option for Google Local Search.
Is this due to FF or to Google search engine.
Can I get it back?
XP Home SP3
Thanks.

Have you clicked on the little down arrow on the search and pick what option that you want.
The new updated version gives me 9 to pick from.

Just type Google into Search then, save it as a Bookmark

I am on about the search box on the top right.
There is an iconn on the left hand side of it with a little arrow.Just click on the little arrow and the 9 search enjines will show.

We may be at cross purposes here.
I don't want to change my search engine ( and I have no arrow as you describe that gives more engines).
If you look at my 'see here' to the right of where it says 'Google Search' below where you enter the subject, I used to have another box 'Local Search' and you could select the option to search there as opposed to world wide.
I think I can understand what I just wrote!!

Ok sorry for the misunderstanding.
I only have the Google search and not got a local search.
The google search icon has also got a small arrow on it as well pointing downwards.
That what I thought you were after.

OK. No probs.
Have you never had a 'local search' option?!
If so I wonder where mine came from!?

According to click here
it vanished a while ago, but I still had mine two days ago.

As mentioned in my last link, you now have to do the serach and on the results page in the left matgin ther is an option for UK results.
So problem solved.
