Lost Favourites in Start List

  JACMAC 20:48 02 Mar 04

I use Win98SE and on the Start list normally Favourites was between Documents and Programs.
Installed IE5.5 as previous was IE 5.0 and now that Favourites has gone.
Still OK in IE when on Web but was convenient to start from the other list to go straight to a site.

Anyone help Please

Right click on taskbar and select properties. Select start menu then customize and ensure show favorites is checked.

Advanced, Show Favourites

I am using Win 98SE and when I Go to Taskbar/Properties/Advanced I do not see any place to put a tick in that says 'Show Favourites'.
Where abouts is this little box for the tick??

There it is in Windows ME click here

Since you said that you used to have it, I assume that it was also an option in Windows 98SE

Download & install Tweak UI click here

On the IE tab of Tweak UI there's a checkbox to 'Show Favorites on Start Menu'

Let us know how you get on...

Thanks for that, I do have TweakUI and never thought of looking in it.
End of problem and thanks to you and also to D@z and Pesala for help
