lost epson 830 status monitor after xp upgrade

Have upgraded to XP&SP2 and everything works fine except the status monitor/ink levels indicator on my epson 830 printer.Have reinstalled etc and been on to epson.They say reinstall etc but nothing works.changing from parallel to usb doesn't help either.Anyone any ideas.

Hello ripvan try this, uninstall epson from your computer,download this and run it:-click here
CCleaner - Crap Cleaner software download then unplug the printer from the computer and reinstall the drivers for the printer.Don't plug the printer in untill it asks you to.Regards.

Had the same problem.
Go to Epson web site and install new status monitor driver for XP.
