Lost Drive Urgent

I have just changed my old 40GB drive to an new 250GB drive using Acronis.

No probalem all works great BUT

Windows has lost my back up drive.

It's a 120GB Maxtor and was working 100% before the upgrade to the main drive.

It is detected in BIOS, all the run through screens and in device manager I just cannot access it through my shortcuts and it does not show in My Computer.

I have tried various jumper and BIOS setting combos and they are now both on auto in bios and cable select jumpers on a ultra ATA cable.

Help, all my important stuff is on the "safe" drive.

Maxtor as a secondary drive do not usually need jumpers (mine doesn't) if it has a jumper take it off and try again..

Sorted thanks.

I did this for anyone wanting to know:

Right Click "My Computer" go to DISC MANGEMENT and assigned the old drive letter that for reason was not there anymore.

This could be due to the fact I had to remove the drive physically to carry out migration.
