Loss of storage on second partition

  awesomefire 00:18 06 Jun 04

I am running a Sony Vaio with a 120GB partitioned drive, one 28GB(drive C) and 87GB(drive D). I have just finished editing a video film where all the files were place on the D drive leaving me with around 10GB to play with. I have deleted these files and only recaimed 20GB. I want the rest of the drive back so I can edit more footage, can anyone help. Right clicking on the drive says I can re-format but XP wont allow me to do it.

Then see if it's the same.

My computer, Right click on the D drive, Properties, Tools, Check Now, Check both boxes and Start. [you may or maynot have to reboot for it to scan]

Have you emptied the recycled bin?
