Ok so starting a build, thought id get others opinions first before i take the plunge, here the parts list.....

CASE - Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

PSU - XFX 650W TS SERIES FULL WIRED 80+ BRONZE PSU

So thats that, done quite abit of research and came up with these parts, looking to get a very solid yet not ridiculously priced rig that can handle almost any game on high settings with great fps, only part i was questioning was the PSU, i went with the 650 as opposed to 550 due to the case having numerous fans and also the possibility of future upgrades, also was wondering if a CPU cooler would be necessary. Hmmm i think thats about it.....comments/suggestions deffinitely appreciated! thank you!

Is a cpu cooler necessary? yes, the cpu is potentially the biggest heat source in a PC hence most cpu's are sold with heatsink and fan.

For the rest - I am not sure where you have sourced these parts from but i would buy motherboard, cpu & ram from the same supplier and make it clear you expect them to work together

I would consider adding an SSD for the OS and programs.
