I am looking to upgrade the graphics card on my Evesham pc. I currently have a 32MB Geforce2/GTS. I know I could get either a 64MB or a 128MB card but would it be worth it considering the spec of my computer? It hase an Athlon 850 processor and 256MB of RAM.

Would I get the full potential of a say, 128MB card or would I just be wasting money? Basically, there's a couple of games I would like to play at a better resolution (namely Medieval Total war!).

Also, are there any other compatability issues I need to consider?

Cheers!

obviously the more work the graphics card does and the more memory it has, the more the processor can concentrate on the sound and other jobs. However, there is a line to be drawn. I think your system would show a huge difference if you put a gforce4 ti card in (128mb) and upgrade your ram to 512mb.
If you are running windows 98, keep that and dont upgrade to xp as this will really hit your system hard. Windows 98 will fly.
