Looking for benchmarks of CPUs

Decided to upgrade my PC, its a socket 939 so I'll have to get either an AM2 motherboard or a socket 775 motherboard. I'm looking for a fairly cheap dual core processor about the £70 mark and was looking for benchmarks to compare them but unfortunatly Toms hardware doesn't have all the processors listed.

Basically I'm looking at either an AMD 6000 X2 chip or an Intel Core 2 Duo E4600. Both are about the £60-70 mark and I'm wondering if theres any real performance difference between them, they run at different frequencies but does that make any noticeable difference?

Or if someone has a better suggestion that would be appreciated, I don't overclock and am not going to spend much more than the £70 I stated so please don't suggest any superfast £150 processors as I just can't afford it.

Thanks for that, it seems to be just what I was wanting.

As I suspected theres almost no difference between them.

Personally speaking I would opt for the Intel one.
It runs a lot cooler and if you are so inclined you can overclock it from 2.4 to 2.7Ghz on the stock cooler.
