I disabled the logon at bootup, but after a request by Microsoft to update my system via the net I have noticed a number changes to my computers configuration, and one is that now at boot up I am asked for a password, Of course I do not have one as I have never confugured one, so have to click on cancel to proceed every time I boot.
I have removed the *pwl files but this has not helped, can any advise me?

Also why cannot I log into BT Openworld for my email when using the AOL Browser, but it is ok via IE. I can get as far as click here, where I click on the email tab, and the sign on screen appears but after entering address and password either page cannot be displayed or due to security you have been logged off. With IE all goes through ok.

How did you *receive a request from Microsoft* to update your system? I think you may have been subject to a bit of tomfoolery I'm afraid.
