Logitech Wireless Keyboard Help needed please...

  GibsonSt19 11:01 04 Jul 05

Hi all, my Logitech LX501 Wireless desktop is great, however the keyboard just won't respond until I get into Windows XP.

I want to make some changes in my BIOS, but the keyboard just won't respond during boot, so I can't select which hardware profile I want also.

Everything's fine once I'm in the O/S, and my last Windows Wireless desktop allowed keyboard use buring boot.

Anyone know what I need to do to get this sorted?

I am guessing you are using the USB port to connect your keyboard... Am I correct?

You most certainly are

You need to connect them with the "PS/2" connectors instead as BIOS doesn't "power-up" USB devices until the operating system is loaded.

Thanks, I hadn't realised the connectors on this Logitech desktop were different to my old MS desktop. :)
