Login error in XP

I turned my PC on and went away for 5 minutes expecting to see the Windows XP user login screen but instead had:

STOP: c000021A {FATAL SYSTEM ERROR} THE WINDOWS LOGIN PROCESS SYSTEM PROCESS TERMINATED UNEXPECTEDLEY WITH THE STATUS OF 0XC000000005(0X000000000X00000000)
THE SYSTEM HAS BEEN SHUTDOWN

This happens in every instance but if I login immediately I get to desktop.

I checked all over the MS support website but nothing there reflects this same error...

Any ideas?

You could have a ram problem go here and type your error in just the error code after stop nothing else you should get quite a bit of info.

Just to keep you updated...

EVERYTHING I tried to resovle this failed. I reinstalled Windows completely (but did not format the C drive) but it did not work either.

I decided to bite the bullet and delete my current partition and reinstall Windows and this time it seems to have been resolved.

Thanks for your help guys!
