logging windows

I have felt that my staff accesses my PC in my absence and I feel somebody has accessed my windows log on password inadvertently. Is there a place where windows maintains a log of whenever it is opened and where can I find it.

If you are using Windows XP, you can set up Security to log when there has been a successful log on.

To do this, open Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Local Security Settings. Expand Local Policies, click Audit Policy in the left window, then in the Right hand window double click "Audit account log on events & Audit logon Events" select "Success".

When ever your computer has been accessed this will now show up in Event Viewer in the Security Events window.
