Locating HIDDEN Folder

  johnpalmer 11:40 27 Jan 04

I have just hidden one of my 'Favourites' folders in Internet Explorer by right clicking my mouse on the folder, going to properties and ticking the 'HIDDEN' box in the attributes section.

How on earth do I find it again ??

I have tried 'search' on the start menu, but nothing is found.

I have even tried system restore (Windows ME)without success.

CAN ANYBODY HELP. It seems daft that hidden files remain hidden. You might as well delete them.

it's hidden innit?

The Hidden Folders attribute is not aimed at protecting folders, but mainly at saving the uninformed viewer for seeing all the *stuff* that lurks within their machine. If you want to keep something secure, you need to password protect it or similar.
