Local Area Network (LAN) Settings

I am trying to connect to sky broadband - everything has been installed correctly but I cannot be connected as my local area network (LAN) settings have disappeared from the network/dial up connection box. How can I retrieve these settings as sky has informed me I need these to connect. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Please elaborate... the "Network Connections" folder no longer contains an icon for your LAN? If this is the case it would indicate a hardware error.

Try start - c/p - network and internet connections- set up or change your internet connection- click the set up tab and run the wizard.

yes eshroom exactly - do you know how I can fix this error?

Rdave13 I tried your suggestion but it still does not bring my LAN settings back - but thanks anyway.
