I recently upgraded my OS from win 98 to win 98SE and have got a lot of protection faults as a result. Namely "GDI.EXE, USER.EXE and a VXD Fatal blue screen. THe system is a compaq presario 2274, 4GB, 44RAM . I get a lot of grapfic problems as well and will have a crash every couple of minutes. I have downloaded the lastest driver from the compaq site and this has made a little difference the problem still remains. Can You Help

To be honest you would be best doing a fresh install.

The errors you recieve no doubt can be fixed but if you say you have "loads" it would be quicker to do a fresh install.

Make you make sure you have your backups and important files, product keys, etc, etc.
