load error on start up

Having problems loading windows just after switching on as I get a load error. Have got black screen with the following text

Boot from CD (this is normal)

Load error!
Press a key to reboot

this then repeats one more time and ends with

Disk boot failure, insert system disk and press enter

I am able to access BIOS and no further
Cannot enter recovery system so decided to clean reinstal using recovery discs, reinstalled but on boot up again i get same msg.
pc running widows media centre with 1GB of memory connected to D-Link router. If anyone can help I would be grateful

Disable boot from LAN in the BIOS

Its trying to boot from a network device.

seen no reference to lan in BIOS under boot heading
