Load balancing and bonding advise

We will be having 4 DSL lines coming into our property and we need to use them simultaneously. not necassarily

We do a lot of uploading probably from one computer, the uploads use ftp and have around 20 connections to the ftp server. We use an FTP client with multiple connections. I realise that a speed test will prob only use one line so will not show the full speed either lol

my main question would be, would a load balancing router allow our ftp services to upload at the full speed of the 4 lines? I have searched around and can not work out if it will be one line per computer or per connection etc?

also I know bonding will combine the connections but a 4 dsl connection router is rather expensive for us at the moment.

Any help/advise would be much appreciated

Think this may be a step too far for our contributors - bit specialised, I guess!
