Live Sound Mixing

I have done a lot of Live sound engineering in the past on an analogue mixing desk, namely Studiomaster desks.

What I would like to do is run a pc/windows based mixer. I have had a look and I believe that Cool Edit Pro is the best software available for mixing individual instruments and microphones 'live'.

What I am struggling to locate is an analogue input device to plug electric guitars, microphones etc into my PC.

Does something like this exist? And can anyone tell me where to look.

I can provide more details if neccessary.

Thanks...

Does something like this exist? yep. You just want to get hold of a Analog-to-Digital Converter. And you have chosen an excellent piece of software with Cool edit pro, mark II is even better
