Can any one point me in the right direction for the drivers for a Liteon iHAS524 DVD/CD-ROM, I have been looking for the past hour but have come up blank.

Every sight I have come across want me to download their updater first free of charge but then I have to pay to use it to get the driver.

According to device manager they are corrupted.

Sorry should have added running windows 7, I've tried to uninstall driver and let windows reinstall but just keep getting error message code 39 with a note to say windows cannot load drivers, may be corrupted or missing.

Just uninstall the drivers then restart your PC and Windows should sort it.

Yep, you shouldn't need to be downloading and installing drivers for cd/dvd drives with Win7 or Vista. Do what Chronus said.

Tried that 3 times and keep getting code 39 error with message that windows cannot load drivers because they are missing or corrupted.

Might have to do a system restore unless you can think of any thing else.
