In a few weeks i'm going to be installing RedHat Linux on a partition on my hard drive.

My Question is whether or not my Alcatel Speedtouch USB modem would work under RedHat.

I have trawled through the Alcatel site, with no joy (hence my posting here).

Best thing to do is find out what the chipset is that the modem is using. Most USB modems shouldn't have a problem.

drivers files are edited to work by linux tec’s, so meet that prob when it comes, it more than likely will install ok
