Linux Mint - New monitor - aspect ratio??

I currently run Mint 11 using an IIyama 17" monitor with an aspect ratio of 4:3 (resolution 1280x1024). I'm considering a bigger monitor (22"/23") but they all seem to have 16.9 aspect ratio. My graphics card is NVidia GeForce 210 and I'm wondering if I will require other drivers etc. I'm also not sure what effect this aspect ratio will have on the viewable image. I'm not into gaming, just use the machine for internet and office purposes. Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

Shouldn't be any problem at all.

No new drivers needed. Just go:

Menu --> Control Centre --> Hardware --> Monitor and set your new aspect ratio.

Job done!
