LINUX live CD for accessing C:

  iqs 21:56 24 Jun 08

I would like a copy of LINUX to use only as a tool for accessing the C:,if the OS/PC fails to boot.

Can you suggest a version which will do the job please, and the best site to download from.

Many thanks

Linux Mint is particularly good, as it supports NTFS file systems.

Why not use Barts PE to build a bootable live XP CD

that way you can pretty much stay in an environment you are already familiar with

Cheers HC

Fruit Bat /\0/\,LastChip and TOSH.

Have downloaded Ubuntu and Mint, both do the job well.
Will look at the link supplied by TOSH,sounds very helpful.
