Hi
I have a Belkin N Router and a Belkin USB Hub, but can't get my Acer Aspire One (runs Linpus Linux) to connect to the printer that is connected to the USB Hub. I have phoned Belkin Technical Support, but hey say there is no way to install the Hub software on an Aspire One PC. Is there any way around this?

Any suggestions will be brilliant.

Thanks
SB

could be causing your lack of printing,

Does the aspire see any other items attached to the hub?

Are the modules for the printer installed/loaded?

Have you configured CUPS correctly ?

I can't as Belkin say that no drivers are available for it.

I don't think the problem in not being able to print is down to the usb hub, if you plug a usb key into it, is it recognised by linpus linux? can you mount it ?

if it's recognised, what model printer are you trying to print from ?
see click here for setting up a networked printer

Linpus Linux won't recognise the usb key. So now what should I do? Ask a guy in a PC World store about how to do it?

is the key recognised in the usb port on the aspire ?
"If you plug a USB drive into the one, it gets auto-mounted in the usual way, and appears to the XFCE file manager as external://. You can unmount a USB drive from the file manager, or the old-fashioned way using the umount command." If you are not able to mount it i would suggest it could be a problem with the key or the aspire, you'd need to check the key in another pc and perhaps a different key in the aspire.
